Using the Hamamatsu LCOS Spatial Light Modulators with high-power lasers creates unlimited new possibilities for flexible and dynamic beam shaping in the emerging field of laser material processing. The NEW Sapphire Type LCOS now allows a power range of >700W, enabling new applications in LPBF and metal processing. Applications such as high-speed multipoint processing, top-hat and various beam shape generation as well as aberration correction for processing inside transparent materials are easily accessible.
